RT @CityWestminster Foreign diplomats owe more £1 mill in unpaid parking fines, Westminster Council stats show http://tinyurl.com/4la3fgb about 1 year ago via twitter
I know Westminster Council needs to make money from its parking fines and know that people shouldn't park in the wrong place.
However, £120 fines and more are too steep. It's running out of control how much councils can charge for small infringements.
I was 2 minutes late (literally). Yes, I was wrong I know.
And yes it is reduced to £60 but it's too much.
Shouldn't there be some way of capping how much the fines are? It's just another form of taxation. about 1 year ago via web
It's a bit like this, to be honest :-)

Never attempt to park in Brixton. They don't want you to go there in your car. The ticket machines never work and they will sue you to death if you try and fight the cause. 3 years of investigation cost me nearly £2000 and this is the conclusion I've come to. Fair enough, but they might put up a sign saying 'Cars not welcome' rather than parking bays everywhere that they really don't want you to use. about 2 years ago via web
Unbelievable. Something should be done, I'm definitely with you on this one. about 2 years ago via web
