flights cancelled due to bad weather on 18th Dec 2009, when BA and all other airlines were still flying. Told by Menzies/BAA staff to "Go home" as this was the message from Easy jet. waited 3 half hours in a queue for customer services to be told only a refund for flight out there and not return flight or we could get another flight the day after from a diferent airport 100 miles away. we took that option. took the car out of parking (which we were told we cant get refunded by easyjet as its "not their policy" to do that. we drove the 100 miles and slepft on the floor, (no offer of transfer vehicle or accommodation was offered) next morning we were @ airport 1 and half hours before flight was due to leave, all queued up barr one person (who had to take the car to the long stay car park which is ten min drive away and 10 min bus drive back) so 5/6 of us are checked in, asked chap at desk about the one remaining person. his exact words were..."Dont worry there are delays on all the flights, it will be fine, just tell him to queue and he will be able to check in NO PROBLEM" after 20 mins of queueing got to the SAME person who advised me of check in for last person ... "im sorry sir, check in is CLOSED for that flight" WHAT!!!!! the guy behind the desk didnt even work for easyjet he worked for Menzies... ok I want to speak to someone from easyjet..."im sorry there are no staff that work in this airport for easyjet.....????????????? How can you run a company withoutANY staff there!!!! so....

MY ADVICE TO YOU FOLKS IS NEVER FLY EASY JET IF YOU CAN HELP IT, BECAUSE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG - WHICH IT IS MORE LIKELY TO THAN NOT - MAKE SURE YOU A) HAVE INSURANCE OR B) BE PREPARED FOR YOUR HOLIDAY/TRIP TO GO DOWN THE PAN ALTOGETHER!!!! over 2 years ago via web
