On lost of signs along the London Overground line, they say "This is a temporary sign". Why? They're not temporary. They've been there for months and look like they'll be there for years.

Am I the only one who travels on London Overground and gets annoyed by the "Temporary Sign" notice that is attached to what seem like very permanent signs along lots of the route?

It's so clearly not Temporary. And so clearly a mistake.

There's probably some rationale like that if they have a permanent sign they need some kind of official sign off so easiest just to go for permanent 'temporary' signs over 2 years ago via web
