We have to be honest. Oyster is amazing. It auto-tops up. You never wait at ticket offices. It works on trains. It has made the whole experience of tickets go away. We just need it now across all train networks. over 1 year ago via web

This is a positive Quiet Riot comment! Want to say how amazingly good the Oyster card is. It really is. No queueing at ticket desks ever. Autotop up means it's scarily easy to spend money but all in all it's a great service and something most cities in the world have nothing remotely as good as. translation missing: root.datetime.distance_in_words.almost_x_years ago via web

I have to say I quite like my Oyster card & when I am outside of London I feel a bit naked without it. I got on a bus in Bristol only to remember that I had to hand over actual money to go anywhere followed by thinking do I even have any change?! I wish that the oyster card service was national so when I book my rail tickets online they could be added to my oyster card rather than posted to me or me having to queue for the fast ticket machines. I hope some of the problems with oyster will be solved with the announcement that it will now cover all the London rail services over 2 years ago via web

Can LU please build barriers at the Waterloo end of the Waterloo and City line? I am fed up of forgetting to pass my Oyster card over the reader hidden by the crowds, particularly in the evening rush on the way home and then being charged some stupid amount for my journey. There is no excuse as the barriers at the Bank end seem to be able to cope with the volumes of people. over 2 years ago via web

Oyster card is generally a great service.

But, why oh why, is it still not accepted on South West Trains. It's barmy. over 2 years ago via web

shouldn't we be 'rioting' about this over on South Western then? I feel the same re: Southeastern, although there are machines being installed at our local station that look suspiciously like Oyster readers... they've been installing them for months tho and no word. over 2 years ago via web
