I've been having problems with O2 coverage recently. Even when in central London and with apparently full signal I'm not able to send a text or make a call. It's really frustrating. If the phone tells me there is full signal, surely that means there is full signal?! It is soooo annoying! Sort this out O2 or you will lose my custom. over 2 years ago via web
It's probably more to do with the phone than O2 as it's the manufacturer who makes the phone software not O2. Just a thought.. over 2 years ago via web

These coverage maps are fairly meaningless and are mainly generated for marketing purposes - they are based on predictions (rather than measurement) and these predictions do not fully take into account the presence of buildings and other items of "clutter". And, of course, they don't apply to indoor coverage. over 2 years ago via web

O2's network coverage is a nightmare. Used to be on Orange.
It might be the iPhone. I don't know. But whatever it is, there's no doubt that O2 even around built up areas has poorer coverage and more dropped calls than ever experienced on Orange. over 2 years ago via web

I would have Quiet Rioted about this last night, but the coverage made it impossible. Outside, standing in the streets of West London. (To O2: that's part of a well known town)
This guy's feeling it. Roll on end of contract...

I travel a lot with my iPhone and have allways bemoaned the slow data speeds so I decided to install speedtest.net on my iPhone and plot the data speeds on Google maps. Here's the sorry story

I couldn't agree more; it seems almost whimsical, doesn't it? over 2 years ago via web
Wow, cool work on the map front though. Imagine if we all piled in until the map became really embarrassing. over 2 years ago via web
John, very cool map - can you post a link to the speed check software iPhone. I'd also like to add my data. ps: I'd also like to start the thread on broadband as this is not goving me anything like the Pro speed I paid for. over 2 years ago via web
